The future leadership initiative develops the capacity of organizations and persons to face the future leadership challenges and to lead for and from the future. The initiative promotes evidence based realism as antidote for magical ‘perfume’ thinking and acting. Old leadership recipes and simple models fail. Too much leadership thinking focuses only on ‘The Leader’. The call for leadership is wider: everybody is challenged in his or her capacity to unlock potential and to make the difference.
The initiative wants to foster game changing ideas and create leadership energy. The André Leysen Leadership Chair organizes lectures on global leadership. With the University of Antwerp we do research on leadership dimensions as coaching and shared leadership. We develop and organize highly effective in company and open leadership development programs. And through partnering and community building we create a holding space for co-reflection, -development and –experimenting with organizations, practitioners and researchers.
Discover the diverse leadership realitions and mindsets of our leaders. The leadership interview movies and texts can challenge and enrich your personal leadership thinking. This is an ongoing activity of the Antwerp Management School Future Leadership Initiative.
